Sarah Harding was voted in as the new Club Secretary during our 50th AGM on the 22nd June.
As a parent of one of our younger players, Sarah is delighted to be able to give something back to the club by accepting this key Committee Member role.
"As a mother of a young football enthusiast, I have first-hand experience of the difference a good football club can make. Grassroots football allows young people to interact with other children and build friendships. It is also a great way to release energy and reduce stress, and it has even been shown that football can help children improve their memory, problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities."
Sarah is very much aware of how our Club can have such a positive influence in the local community. Talking at the AGM she commented "HVFC's focus on positivity and teamwork yields great results, and I am motivated by the knowledge that I am helping an organisation that supports hundreds of young people in the local community."
Sarah joins Graham Hall (Chair) and Ben Richards (Treasurer) as HVFC Committee Members and Trustees of the Charity.
