About the team

Our Under 12's play competitive football in the Wycombe & South Bucks Mini Soccer Conference League, which is affiliated with the Berks and Bucks County FA.
The 2023/24 football season starts in September. The first few matches are 'Development' to ensure that the Division is balanced, before the competitive matches start. Divisions run as follows:

  • Red
  • Green
  • Blue
  • Yellow
  • White
  • Black
  • Orange

Last season, the team secured second place in the Blue Division and played the Division Final at Thame United Football Club, securing promotion to the Green Division for the 2023/24 season. Each Division has 10 Club Teams, playing in a 9v9 formation over 60mins. Rules are aligned with normal football regulations, with the exception of substitutions (roll on an roll off).

Team Background

We are a friendly group brought together by the love of all things football. Our ethos and mantra is to have fun and learn whilst we are training, fully embracing The Football Association standards and guidelines.
Whilst some of the team have trained and played together over the last 5 to 6 years, everybody is welcome and given the opportunity to join in. Our pitches are always open to anyone looking for a chance to play football.
We have a licensed coach and six friendly volunteers, who have all played to various standards and levels. Our training sessions are based on The FA’s four pillars principles of Technical, Psychological, Social & Physical. We use various drills to build player’s ability, confidence, social awareness and general well-being.

Last season was a new experience for all our players. A new location, new rules including offside, new size ball, new formation, match duration and larger pitch. Our players coped well with the step up from the previous season and as the season progressed everyone started to find their position, role and began to understand how they contributed to the team. They had a hard but wonderful 2022/23 Season, and as a Manager, Coach, Volunteer and Parent I am proud of all our players. Every time they walk on or off the pitch, they do so with confidence and a big smile irrespective of the result.
